Client

Quantgene

About the Company

PanProtect is Quantgene’s response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The goal is to offer COVID testing to individuals as well as a service plan to help business organizations during the lockdown.

SITE CASE STUDY

THE CHALLENGE

Extend Quantgene’s branding to distinguish PanProtet as a different product provided by Quantgene: one that correlates it to the company without establishing it as a Machine Learning system like Serenity.

PROJECT BACKGROUND

As the company’s COVID team worked to extend testing services to individuals and third parties, the need for a site to explain what PanProtect offered grew. The team was tasked with creating this site as well as branded marketing materials used for PanProtect business.

MESSAGE OF THE COMPANY

Funnel PanProtect partners through Panprotect’s site to market COVID testing services and introduce Quantgene’s machine learning services. This could be gained through similar branding to Quantgene and hosting the URL as a subdomain on quantgene.com and serve more as a landing page.

The previous LPs were hosted on Quantgene’s site. After feedback from initial COVID partners, the use of landing pages directly on Quantgene’s site proved too confusing and off-putting to viewers; they didn’t need to sift through machine learning first when they’re just looking for their specific COVID needs.

DESIGN AND RESEARCH & COMPETITOR ANALYSIS

NOTABLE COMPETITORS:

Same-Day Health
Healthvana

During the time, there were limited amount of sites that were offering COVID-testing information. After researching these sites, we found that there has not been a hub for the type of testing that we do, which was both individual as well as company-wide testing. Therefore, through our own research with the company’s COVID testing plan, we decided to do a series of PanProtect LPs that viewers can browse through and see the full range of services.

All the while, Panprotect was expanding to enterprise education. This action had Panprotect becoming a leading COVID testing partner for LA’s production industry.

SITE MAPPING

The previous plan, of hosting COVID operations on Quantgene, greatly limited the amount of information given to company clientele and COVID users. There was confusing user-flow within the site, and so sitemapping was the solution for developing an ease of platform use. This allowed us to create pages for enterprises, individuals, production, and education without overwhelming them with Quantgene’s technology information.

WIREFRAMES

As the copy for the pages were in progress, I was able to create low-fidelity wireframes to map out the key information that was needed. Using the grid styles that was also used for Quantgene’s main site, I was able to see which sections could be re-used for PanProtect.

MOODBOARDS

The moodboards I created for PanProtect needed to have a similar pallet to the Quantgene brand, but because this product dealt with COVID-testing, I needed to find imagery that would speak to each industry PanProtect marketed to.

MORE DESIGN ITERATIONS

The first round of designs attested for the Home page, individual’s page, production, businesses and schools. After initial QC on the prototype, the content needed to change. In order to adapt to the business plan, we had to condense the pages down

TYPE AND COLORS

FINALIZED SITE

As the project progressed and the branding almost finalized, I was able to create high fidelity wireframes to present to the rest of the team and the client before passing onto the developers.
