About the Product
In the midst of the 2020 pandemic, Quantgene | Serenity became one of the leading names in COVID testing within production LA based companies. With a large demand for our efficient testing experience, the team was tasked with providing companies with an employee-facing portal that would make testing and data tracking simpler.

Prior to research, the main features we wanted shown on the app were testing updates, results, and vaccination status. Researching the notable competitors allowed us to look into the way top apps were showcasing results, and therefore, allowed me to create a familiar layout on top of our branded design.
WIREFRAMING AND MAPPING
A user-map was created to help clinical, engineering, and design know the user-flow for sign-up, onboarded, and recurring users.
DESIGN ITERATIONS
As the project continued, the product became more centered around company-wide COVID testing. Therefore, there was a need for employees to track testing, informed consent and vaccination status within their companies in the case that they have more than one employer. The user-flow then evolved to meet the needs of these employees.
FINALIZATION & CONCLUSION
Prior to launch, we conducted final user testing for the app using TestFlight and repaired any bugs and glitches that were found. Once the app was finalized, an onboarding system was put in place for partnered companies throughout LA. The app was well-received and provided easy tracking for both employers and employees during COVID testing.
